Excellent – Have used it for some time now and it works as advertised. The individual ports glow blue, which helps at night, and the fast-charging port is very helpful. Installation was quick and easy, and I would definitely recommend it.

Great for all 3.0 devices – So at first glance one can say that anything can be plugged into this hub. It isn’t until you plug everything in that you find out it’s all 3.0. But not to worry, if you do plug in a device that’s 2.0 it will still work, you would just have to turn off your 3.0 devices because it will eject anything 3.0 and convert it all to 2.0.

Exactly what I was looking for – I’ve got a million peripherals and a new machine that didn’t have as many ports as I needed and some devices I was swapping ports out before between ports before with my multi PC setup (home and work). It’s incredibly convenient to free up ports so that the devices that are dedicated to home or work can stay on their main PC and for those that see both uses only having to switch one usb cord over. Not having to disconnect devices when they aren’t needed for others that are in the moment. Being able to turn devices off with a quick button press. This thing has massively simplified my life and I’ve only had it a week or two (life is a blur at the moment). All that and self sustained power?!? Power consumption, and potential added strain to my machines, of usb with the amount of peripherals I have has popped into my head as a worry more than a few times.
