Better than expected smooth & perfect – Better than expected smooth & perfect ~ ALWAYS plug into the wall if you want the maximum quality. The problem with most of the others – ones that feed off the PC power source is that the power drain often causes some terrible performance issues with the USB hub itself. One with it’s own power source AND plugged in is the answer – not even a LITTLE trouble with this product compared to the competitors.

Really cool and convenient product. – Before I get started into fully talking about this, know that there are two types of these devices from various brands, unpowered and powered, the latter being used or included with an AC adapter to ensure you are getting enough power to the devices connected like you would if your device was connected directly to your PC USB port, except it has to split one into multiple ports, and only so much energy can be drawn from a single port, so you most definitely want something which is powered with an AC adapter like this.

In general, I have had bad luck with usb hubs in the past to where they stop working in a matter of a short few months. I also hope this review doesn’t end up jinxing me

THIS one is flush, its perfect and lit so you know what you’re turning on. We have the old 4 slot one from 10 years ago and swear by its design.

Great design – This is a problem solver for my Mac Mini 2020 which does not have enough plug in slots, although it is a great computer. Adding the stackable drives takes up one of two available . Bad solution. My monitor also requires a thunderbolt AND USB port, Eiso with up and down stream required. I also have a second computer and monitor with switching device and same type two required ports.
