These won’t squish your ears…… – Since the pandemic my son & his friends have been doin game nights on their Ps4 a few nights a week. He broke his other ones & wanted to try some that go over the ears. He said the ones that sit on the ear hurt & after dealing with masks pulling on the ear, comfort is what we looked for.

Too tight – Although for most people these headsets might fit right, for me not wide enough. Very tight, sound is good

Great Gift Giver I am PRE CHRISTMAS – Greetings everyone, I’d to first say I had to replace a pair of headphones of a college kid(Brother in law). My young domestic terrorist (1 Years.) Loves to get into EVERYthing and I mean EVERY thing, LOL. While I wasn’t paying attention to the little one(horrible I know) he manage to infiltrate his uncles bedroom and sabotage his daily driver headphones that he uses from gaming to phone calls to blocking out his mother(LOL.). I was put the to task and to find a compatible replacement headphones and let me tell you, these were IT!.

Pleasantly surprised…so far. – I was hesitant to buy any inexpensive branded headphones but with these, i was pleasantly surprised. Out of the box they just worked and worked well, excluding the microphone. I have not needed the microphone nor will i so i cant speak about the quality. However, the headset in general is working well so far. I plugged them into my dell monitor and iphone to see if there was a sound difference and yes there is. From the monitor the sound is a little flat but good enough for gaming. On the iphone 6S, this is where the sound gets much better. The headphones in general are easy to wear for extended play. I have a bit wider of an average head and they feel and felt comfortable during use. The usb function for the rgb works well. I plugged it into the monitor too and they light up , i dont really need that function but i wanted to test it and it works fine. If in the future i use the mic function, i will update this review accordingly. One more thing, i paid $21.99, amazon had a 5% off coupon and another coupon if i signed up for prime, which i needed at the time of purchase anyway.

Great Headset, microphone works perfectly! – I purchased this headset to replace my previous microphone, which was a non-gaming headset and much cheaper than this one. I tested this mic as soon as I got it by hooking it up to both my PlayStation 4 and my gaming PC. I got it plugged in and immediately tested it on discord. Right out the gate, I noticed the receptiveness of the microphone. Initially, I was impressed with how comfortable and snug this headset fit. It adjusts right to the size of your head, and the ear covers on the headset are very cozy and feel secure on the ears. My experience with headsets usually has me taking the hardest look at the microphone, as many I have used broke VERY quickly or had very poor reception with how close the microphone had to be to my face. This headset has a fantastic microphone, sounds very clear and only picks up the sounds of your voice, although it doesn’t come with a pop filter so be careful if you’re using it to record anything. It comes with an audio splitter and a USB interface to power the LED lights in the headset, which looked and lit up perfectly for me! I love and am very happy with this headset for the price I paid. It was what I was looking for!

Nice alternative to pricier sets – We picked up this gaming headset as a birthday gift for our kid — I liked that it was an affordable headset since he’s not a professional gamer (basically bought it to replace a $10 Bugha headset from 5Below that no longer worked; so I’m approaching this review with that comparison in mind). Gift is still to be given, but I tested it out to make sure everything was working correctly, and I like what I saw / heard. This headset feels sturdy, which is nice for the price, and the cushioning around the ears has good padding and felt comfortable. The headband adjustment made it possible to fit me, but also adjust to fit my kid. I thought the sound was good (if my kid feels otherwise after getting to use them regularly, I’ll come back and update this). The rainbow effect on the side is fun. As others have said, the rainbow color-changing only works when the usb is plugged in to either the computer (or a hub / alternative power source) — I used the headphone jack for the sound, and the usb connector to add the light effect — but I expected that as the last headset had the same requirement. For the price, I think they’ll be a great pair of headphones for my kid.
