Great for remote servers/systems – To an extent this product works. I get a display when using anydesk and for what it does it’s great running a headless pc. My main problem is the latency and lag when I had that dummy hdmi during my remote sessions into my headless system. Running at the full 4k was barely usable, but turning it to 1080p made it better but still had a significant lag/latency. But it works decently great, just something you have keep in mind.

Works with Tight VNC viewer and Team Viewer on a headless PC running windows 11 – Allows you to choose pretty much every resolution, defaults to 3840 x 2160, and works just as well at 1920 x 1080. I have only been using it for a few minutes but it’s a simple device. I will report back if any issues!

Even a dummy can use these plugs – Not much to know other than these plug into an HDMI port which is one way many displays connect to a computer. So the computer needs to have an HDMI connector on it or you use another converter or cable to provide the right connector for these plugs. These units remove the need to use a physical display. I use them so I can put the computer out of the way, without a screen (that takes up space) so I can access and use this computer remotely. These are also called display emulators, or ghosts. The only issue one needs to know is to make sure the max resolution that you want the computer to generate matches the max resolution of these units which is included in specs. This affects max resolution you will get on your remote

Bought this for Parsec – I have a home computer that is my home server and it was connected to the living room TV. We bought a couch that ended up being to big and had to move the computer to a different location. There are many ways to remote into your computer but Parsec is just downloading the software. Unfortunately you need an HDMI connected to a TV to make the screen show up (or you can trick the device that it is using one but that doesnt work most of the time) Parsec recommends some headless HDMI but they are sold as singles. This product has three for the price so no brainer there.

Great – These are great for using with headless stuff. That way things like teamviewer and nomachine will display properly. I had issues if a monitor was not connected to a graphics card. Once I got these they worked great and will continue to use them.

    10. S. L (verified owner)

Windows didn’t play the best with them – first off the glue holding the metal outer piece was weak, so they came of easily (1 came off through the mail).

Works flawlessly! – I use this for adding a second larger screen on ultravnc. Simply connecting it to beckhoff IPC or B&R panels makes editing HMI programs easier on our machines.
