Great – I used to be anti apple. Didn’t want anything apple. My brother convinced me to get an iPhone and then it led to another apple product and another. Decided to go back to college and didn’t want to use my small MacBook Pro so got a desktop and absolutely love it. Love how I am able to pull stuff off my iPhone and use it on the Mac with a click of the button. Love this. Worth the money. I also do photo editing and some small end video editing and this is great for it.

There are a few things I wish I had known before I bought this… – …I wish I had known that Apple had switched to USB-C ports for all accessories. This machine only has 2 of them–not a real problem, IF I had known other things:

iMac is Great – I’m always amazed at the effort Apple goes to with regards to their packaging and product! Simply amazing! I wish they wouldn’t change their ports as much as they do but heck that’s progress for you. It only took me about 1.5 hours to get my up and running on this new machine and most of that time was spent finding passwords. Now all of her Apple devices on are on her iCloud account and separate from mine! I know, years ago I set her first phone up on my account and man was that a mistake! Lesson learned! Kudos to Amazon for delivering this device a day ahead of schedule! Amazon is the bomb!!

Got it for my wife; I want one!!! – My wife is an artist and primarily creates art on her iPad Pro, because it’s massively easier than working with physical and a snap to access her work on her phone and share/sell online. She’s been hobbling along on an old MacBook Pro we bought her 10 years ago, but that laptop frequently suddenly shuts off, and has gotten to be quite slow despite upgrades I made to it years ago (more ran, added an SSD). At any rate, it was time to upgrade and I asked my wife if she wanted a MacBook Pro again, and she said she would rather have an iMac.

may be ok …. but, Amazon Apple ships with old software – Went to migrate old Imac to new one, and could not do it. The computer had not been updated to new software. With very fast download speed, it is saying it will take hours. Wonder if I sould have bought from Apple directly?

Pink computer? Yes please! – I was wanting to get a new computer since my other one was an HP and it was over 7 years old. It was a fossil. It was sooooooo slow, so I had been looking at some newer options. Pink is my favorite color so when I happened to come across this, I couldn’t resist. I’ve never owned a Mac before nor did I ever want to spend that much money on one, but I decided to splurge and I’m glad I did. The red back is a little funky but the way it sits on my desk you can’t see it anyways so that’s not a big deal. I don’t do anything on my computer besides pay bills and occasionally type, so I definitely didn’t need a computer of this caliber. I easily could’ve gotten away with a much much cheaper one….. but the pink stole my heart so here I am lol
